NY-based folksinger Oneg Shemesh has released a new lyric video for his song “Can’t Stop Loving You“. Set over drone footage of Big Island, Hawaii, the song, a funk/soul track about a struggling relationship, comes from the singer’s most recent album, 2015’s Shine Forward.
Raised in Mevo Modi’im, Israel, Oneg Shemesh was a neighbor and founding member of Moshav Band, and has also shared the stage with the likes of Soulfarm and Matisyahu.
The Promised Land (Israeli rapper Sagol 59‘s Hebrew-language Grateful Dead tribute project) recently appeared at The Deanery in Brooklyn, NY, during which they performed their cover of “New Minglewood Blues“. The onstage menagerie included Noah Lehrman on drums and Soulfarm‘s C Lanzbom on guitar. You can watch the clip below.
Anti-folker Noah Lehrman was recently on college station WNHU performing his song “Come; Reason”.
Lehrman is currently recording his debut record with C Lanzbom of Soulfarm. Tentatively titled How I Made My Bed and projected for a 2017 release, the disc will feature songs from his digital EP, Wear This Crown. That and other great tunes can be heard at his website and on Soundcloud.
His next solo show will be 7PM Monday night, February 20, at Radio Bean in Burlington, VT.
